life in lockdown is changing what we do and the way we feel. this might be our reality for a long time and it’s important that we start to adapt and accept our new way of life.
I have recently begun to seek out a rhythm to my days, making my lockdown experience feel almost normal. I wanted to share my lockdown activities with you all, within the hope that it can offer you some ideas on the way to fill your days whilst ‘staying alert’.

1. Regular walks
Getting out of the house for a few fresh air and movement may be a non-negotiable a part of my day. i exploit the time to explore areas of my local town that I haven’t had the possibility to go to, catch-up on my favourite podcasts, and provides various members of my family a call.

2. Keeping active and building on my fitness
Whether I’m competing for GBR or simply keeping fit, I’ve got always had a large passion for fitness. During lockdown I’ve got been incorporating running, cycling, weightlifting, yoga, and barre into my daily regimen. I never thought that I might enjoy home workouts but there’s something agreeable about not having to visit a gym to coach. If you’re struggling to understand a way to get fit reception, read my April blog post for home workouts that need no equipment.

3. Engaging in extracurricular webinars
It is a rare occasion that my University work isn’t overwhelming my life so I’m utilizing the free time to expand my knowledge of dentistry. I’ve got been attending extra-curricular webinars by leading dental professionals which have filled a void that was left when the University closed.

4. Nature engagement
I’ve always envied people with gardens stuffed with color and freshly grown vegetables. During lockdown I’ve got dedicated the time to creating my garden a haven of plants and vegetation. I’ve got already created a garden that may soon be crammed with delicious herbs able to be utilized in the kitchen.

The lockdown has also made us appreciate our parents, who usually work day and night to full our reasonable (and unreasonable) demands and never complain. Spending longer with them gave us a chance to know them. Life is about not only studies, TV, and games. it’s about sharing and standing with each
other during any phase of life. we’ve got also got an opportunity to grasp about our parent’s childhood days, watching history documentaries, playing games like chess. Parents have also taught us the worth of cash, and the way necessary it’s to save lots of money for rainy days. we’ve learnt that it’s our moral duty to square by our employees in offices and factories and retainer because they’re the people that make our life worth living. The current situation has made us value the organizations who keep working day and night to form our life easy and smooth. we must always be thankful to our government and police who try to create people follow the principles of social distancing. we should always even be grateful to physicians who are putting their lives at risk to save lots of thousands of lives. Lockdown is giving us many lessons about life. we’ve got learnt to handle difficulties with a positive mind, and that I hope these lessons remain with us throughout life. there’s an end to each nightmare.

Getting immersed in my passions and keeping busy during lockdown has been integral to keeping my sanity and reducing my anxiety. I hope that you just can take some inspiration from my blog to limit the inevitable boredom of lockdown.
It’s important to notice that learning new skills and flexing your creative muscles should be a choice. The activities that you just engage in should bring on joy and not boost this already stressful situation.
